Revival of the old school day favourites at I Spy!
Egg and spoon, 3 legged, sack and relay races was the agenda of the afternoon, as I Spy launched its brand new annual School Sports Day.
The agency split into six teams with individual house names based on our favourite (or in some cases not so favourite, but very funny) pubs in the covent garden area. The Langley, The Hospital Club, Mahiki, Tiger Tiger, Walkabout and the Crown and Anchor. The atmosphere was electric with competitive spirit as we took to the starting line half emerged in a sack.
We experience an array of techniques used, from the ‘grab and hold’, buckaroo, pump the air dance move to the giant bunny all used in desperation to cross the finish line first. (Even if they did look a little special in the process – Josh.)
We got up close and personal to take part in the Three Legged Race - a real team building task.
The Baton Relay – the most competitive of them all, speed, agility and crafty lane positioning.
Competition unravelled here, with the sports personalities fighting for the best change-over. So much so, the race for the finish line meant Aaron made a tumble for the finish line falling through the crowd of supporters…

The day was accompanied by a very British picnic, with scones, cream and jam, even the odd Scotch egg. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day!
We tried to ban steroids but some people got away with it...
We are proud to announce that due to the first successful I Spy Sports day we will be introducing this as an annual event.
Bring on the Olympics 2012 I say!
