Missing You Already!
Today Ben and I will be departing I Spy and heading over to Google HQ in Victoria for the start of an exciting journey. We’ve been selected to represent I Spy for a Google-led initiative called Squared.
Squared is in partnership with Hyper Island, a Swedish based learning company, and the IPA. The programme is aimed at equipping 100 candidates with a wide range of knowledge covering search, display, social, video and mobile.
Working on real-world projects for three months, we’ll be judged by a whole range of experts including entrepreneurs, clients and senior agency staff. It’s a great (although slightly daunting!) opportunity to gain a solid understanding of the digital fundamentals. We will also be treated to inspiring lectures throughout the course from a selection of speakers; the first one today is from Matt Brittin, Google Vice President for Northern and Central Europe.
We will of course miss I Spy, but we’ll be back soon, full of knowledge and ready to share with both the agency and with our clients. See you when we return!
