"I Spy Analytics" App Data Usage Policy
The "I Spy Analytics" iPhone App accesses Google Analytics ("GA") by asking the user for their normal GA username and password and then authenticating using the GA API. These credentials are then stored within the app and used to access their GA account whenever the user opens up the app.
Data from the user's GA profile is downloaded when the user views the relevant report, and is stored in a cache on the iPhone to speed up report fetching times. If the user visits the same report more than 2 hours later, the data is refreshed from the live GA.
Data is not used for any purpose other than rendering reports on the user's iPhone, and is never transmitted to any other location.
