Business Development Manager - Technology

In 2010 we launched our proprietary social media advertising platform called Upcast.  Facebook advertising is set to explode in 2011 and Upcast is ideally placed to help advertisers get the maximum potential from their budgets through allowing larger scale, better tracking and management, and more automation of Facebook ads.

The candidate

We are looking for an experienced technology Sales Representative to join our growing New Business division.  The candidate will ideally have at least 2 years sales or business development experience in the online ad platform or technology space selling to either direct clients or agencies.

You must possess a proven track record in sales and be extremely hungry for success.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are vital.  You will need to be commercially aware and be confident in presenting ad technology solutions to senior contacts on agency or client side.

The successful candidate will be motivated and rewarded with an outstanding commission scheme.

Key job roles

• Researching and developing new business prospects (client or agency)
• Preparing winning new business proposals
• Closing new clients and briefing into account management teams
• Keeping up-to date with Industry trends and technology developments
• Acting as a ‘team player’ within the New Business team and the wider organisation.
• Demonstrating clear buy-in to I Spy values and business plan

Required skills/knowledge

• Highly Commercially focused and always looking for the next opportunity.
• Experience and proven track record in technology sales
• Experience in selling to big brands and agencies
• Exceptional communicator -written English preferred
• Strong data analysis, numerical, research and organizational skills.
• Previous experience with managing CRM systems.
