Social Media is undoubtedly changing the way society communicates and as a result the digital arena has seen huge growth within this area. Whether it be for business or personal reasons - Social Media has definitely made its mark and is here to stay for the time being.
As with anything new there has been some apprehension. However, leveraged in the right way, social media can be a huge asset to businesses, helping them to cultivate much stronger customer relationships, build brand advocates, and learn what consumers like and dislike – all without paying for advertising. It is however imparative that buisnesses understand what the objective of their Social Media strategy is, how they intend to use it and most importantly how the activity will be tracked and managed.
