Updates To Google Analytics Interface
When you logged into your Google Analytics account yesterday, you were probably surprised to see a number of changes to the user interface. Here are some screenshots of the key improvements:
Dashboard sharing
The configuration of any dashboard (not the data itself) can be shared between accounts:
Report caching
The reports you visit are cached - it means that you don’t have to wait for the same report to load each time you view it. You can refresh the data by clicking on the “Refresh Report” link at the bottom of the data table.
Metrics comparison
The metrics comparison option is more prominent:
Flash-free graphs
The standard graphs are Flash-free, it means you will be able to see them on your iOS device:
Additional options in advanced filters
This admin feature was released a couple of weeks ago. A few new options have been added to the advanced filter configuration:
- Visitor Mobile? (filter pattern = yes or no)
- Visitor Continent
- Event Category
- Event Label
- Event Action
