Nishma Robb
Nishma Robb joined award-winning digital marketing agency I Spy in March this year as Business Development and Marketing Director.
She is responsible for marketing the agency and securing new business across I Spy’s core digital services including search, social media, mobile marketing and conversion optimisation.
One of her great strengths is her experience and knowledge of the travel sector, particularly in the online space, having spent four years before joining I Spy as Group Distribution Director of AIM-listed Travelzest plc.
As a specialist travel group, Travelzest grew through acquiring a collection of niche travel businesses which it then managed to increase profitability. Nishma looked after all online distribution for the group and managed the start-up businesses. She was also a key part of the acquisition and fundraising team and during her time there the company bought nine travel businesses and launched three new ones.
Between October 2004 and February 2006 Nishma was Managing Director of Teletext Holidays. During her time there she completely transformed the business taking it from being an advertising text service on analogue television into new digital platforms on television and its first move online. Leading the company’s web strategy, she took it from being the 13th biggest online travel site to number three in less than 18 months.
She originally joined Teletext in 1994 as in a sales role and over the next six years rose to become Sales Director in 2000, a position she held for four years until she took over as Managing Director of the holidays division.
Nishma was rated as one of the most powerful people in travel by Travolution and also won Business Woman of the Year in the Asian Women of Achievement awards in 2004.
Outside of work she is a self-confessed online shopaholic, shoe collector and mum to two-year old twins Oskar and Anoushka.
